Digital Photoscape has been created by Dmitry and Olga Rudakov as forum for the display and discussion of digital photography, digital imaging techniques, and related topics. They have been involved with film photography for over 8 years and working seriously on digital photography since 2000. Besides this site today Olga and Dmitry are very much focussed on studio and landscape photography and the printing process. Dmitry also focuses on underwater shooting and prefers to work with scenic reefs and anemonfishes.

All materials at this site are written in Russian. This page only is specially designed for non-Russian visitors. Here you can find selection of Dmitry and Olga's works. If you like them you can give your feedback via e-mail. They also sell their prints so do not hesitate to ask.

Papua New Guinea [March 2004]
Papua New Guinea [March 2004]
26.05.2004 [FineArt]
My most emotional dives took place in Papua New Guinea. I had the chance to see things I had never seen. If there is a single word to describe Papua New Guinea it would be color. The colors of exotic fishes, gorgonians and corals are highlighted against the deep cobalt blue waters. This is just underwater paradise. This series of large format photographs was created during my expedition to PNG in March 2004. The photographs were created with Canon EOS 1Ds camera and Seacam Silver Housing. US, Arizona & Utah Canyons [October 2003]
Colorado Plateau is a place where two divergent forces, the world's best light and the world's most interesting landscapes seamlessly combine to create a photographer's paradise. For me, some of my most successful photographs of the American Southwest were created in Zion Narrows and the slot canyons of northern Arizona. Time spent "shooting" in this unearthly landscape of vibrant colors, towering monoliths and mesmerizing patterns is always repaid with a trove of exceptional imagery. This series of large format photographs was created during my expedition to US in October 2003. The photographs were created with Canon EOS 1Ds camera. Sipadan Island [May 2002]
Sipadan Island [May 2002]
26.05.2004 [FineArt]
Pulau Sipadan is just a small island rising from a depth of more than 600 meters from the bottom of the Celebes Sea, just a few miles from the coast of Sabah. The name of Sipadan is simply legendary in diving circles, conjuring images of twirling tornados of barracudas and jacks, millions of colored reef fish and, above all, dozens of green sea turtles  swimming peacefully everywhere. I also have seen numerous juvenile fishes, clown anemone fishes, decorator and spider crabs, coral shrimps, nudibranchs, prawn gobies and such rarer subjects as jawfish, ornate ghost pipefish and frogfish. This series of photographs was created during my expedition to Sipadan in May 2002. The photographs were created on Fuji Velvia with Nikon F100 camera and Sea&Sea Housing. Saint-Martin Island [September 2001]
The Friendly Island of Saint Martin is the smallest piece of land shared by two countries - Holland and France. In the 36 square mile area, you will find yourself swept away by the breathtaking landscape, fluttering butterflies, blue turquoise waters, beautiful white sand beaches and glorious Caribbean sunshine. The views are spectacular, with the color of the sea changing according to the vagaries of the sun. At nighttime, the water may resemble black glass, all shimmery and seductive. Afternoon sun brings vibrant hues of verdant greens and purple-tinted aquamarine. The color of the island is transformed in the sunset - it turns completely orange. What ever your tropical landscape desires, you are sure to find it on Saint Martin. This series of photographs was created during our trip to Saint Martin in September 2001. The photographs were created on Fuji Velvia with Contax 645 and Canon EOS 5 cameras. Click on each image to access a larger version featuring the image title and technical data.

Series "Children"
26.05.2004 [FineArt]
This session lasted for over 6 months. It was very difficult to capture the innocence, trust and happiness of these sweet babies and we needed all our love and patience to capture every image. This series of photographs was created during Olga's work at Nuance's Calendar 2002 in May-October 2001. The photographs were created with Contax 645 and MegaVision S2 Digital Back. Click on each image to access a larger version featuring the image title and technical data.
Nude Calendar [June-October 2000]
Nude Calendar [June-October 2000]
26.05.2004 [FineArt]
Nudes photographs celebrate the body: its curves, its miscles, its power to attract and impress us. We look at nudes because they're sexy and exciting. Most nudes lead us into a world of unreality where people don't look like real people or act like real people. It was an unusual experience. This series of photographs was created during our work at Reksoft's Calendar 2001 in June-October 2000. The photographs were created with Contax 645 and MegaVision S2 Digital Back.
